DMCA Copyright Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Musicalis respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
1. Designated Copyright Agent
If you believe that content on Musicalis infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent:

2. Filing a Takedown Notice
To submit a DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., a URL).
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send your notice to info@musicalis.org. We will respond to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the claimed infringing material and notifying the user who uploaded it.
3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
4. Repeat Infringers
Musicalis will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. We define a repeat infringer as any user whose content has been the subject of more than two valid DMCA takedown notices.
5. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that content was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees.
